Product Safety

As dealers of children’s resale products, we respect the Hazardous Products Act and do all we can to ensure the safety of children’s products sold in our stores. The Hazardous Products Act is a federal statute administered by the Consumer Product Safety Division of Health Canada.  We review all products to make sure they comply with current standards, that they are not subject to a recall and that all items do not have missing or broken pieces.  We review product recalls to ensure safety and compliance, and check all incoming items accordingly.

Items we cannot take are:

  • Cribs with drop sides
  • Padded car seat bags
  • Seat belt adjusters
  • Walkers
  • Equipment and toy items which appear on the recall list

We’ve listed links to most institutions, businesses and associations who all want to keep you and the kids safe.
